Heather Welner | President, CEO & Director


Mrs. Welner has had extensive experience in leading start up corporations to success. Over the last twenty five years she has garnered extensive experience in the broadcast, medical, food and construction industries. Her expertise focuses on execution, sales, organization and detail. This has allowed her to bring companies to operation and profit on a consistent basis. Mrs. Welner’s has been involved with the Ghanaian community both in Canada and Ghana for the last fifteen years. Mrs. Welner success has been recognized by being presented with the Female Entrepreneur IN Award (Incomparable Category), which was the award granted to a woman whose achievements in business on every level exceeded the norm. 

Augustus Tanoh, LL.M | EVP & Director


Mr. Tanoh holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Ghana, an LL.M from Northwestern University of Chicago, Illinois and  has a Certificate in Finance for Oil Industry Management (IHRDC), He is an international businessman who was in charge of finance and administration in the third largest Ghanaian company (GNPC). Mr. Tanoh played an important part in planning and executing the Government’s strategy for the establishment of oil and gas exploration in Ghana.

Graeme W. Norval Ph.D., F.C.I.C., P.Eng.

Dr. Norval is the Associate Professor, Associate Chair and Undergraduate Coordinator, at the Department of Chemical Engineering and Applied Chemistry, University of Toronto. Dr. Norval is an appointed member of the Ontario Ministry of Labour’s, Prevention Council, the Education Director of the Process Safety and Loss Management Division of CSCHE; and the Secretary to the Board of Directors of the Canadian Catalysis Foundation, a non-profit organization supporting catalysis research in Canada.Dr. Norval brings extensive experience and expertise to the Board in the area of inorganic process chemistry and engineering, that will prove invaluable to the Board in assisting with Organic Potash Corporation’s licensed technology forthe production of potassium carbonate and related chemicals.

Jayson Schwarz, LL.M. | Non-Executive Director


Mr. Schwarz practices law in the areas of corporate/commercial, real estate, and business matters and is a member of the International, Canadian and Ontario Bar Associations. Mr. Schwarz has been involved in international commercial transactions involving various American, Caribbean, African and European jurisdictions. Mr. Schwarz is the senior partner at Schwarz Law LLP with associated offices in Montreal, Kansas City, Turks and Caicos and Accra, Ghana. Mr. Schwarz has provided advice and assistance in the structural and transactional activities of a number of listed companies

Wally Rudensky, CA | Non-Executive Director
Mr. Rudensky’s extensive background in taxation and finance and his keen business sense rivals his flair for the unconventional. Wally has over 25 years of experience in public accounting as partner of EvansMartin LLP Chartered Accountants and previously with Arthur Anderson. He has lectured at various Universities and professional forums in the tax and corporate finance areas. He organized the EvansMartin tax practice with particular attention to corporate reorganizations, domestic and international tax and corporate acquisitions. His experience includes corporate finance and governance, international corporate structuring and more recently, IFRS conversion. Mr. Rudensky has been active as a CFO and a member of the Boards of Directors for a number of public companies.
